White Chocolate Strawberry Mousse Tart

A Delicately delicious and smooth White Chocolate and Strawberry Mousse Tart. This dessert is perfect for the sweet tooth!

As much as we love to impress our guests with complicated, show-stopping sweets, the reality is that we don’t always have for it. This no-fuss tart will impress your guests and the clock!

White Chocolate Strawberry Mousse Tart

Pour the tin of strawberries with the syrup into a pot on a low heat and reduce until the syrup is thick. Put aside to completely cool off.

Crush biscuits and add melted butter to form the crust of the pie. Mould the biscuit into the pie mould and set aside.

Break the chocolate into small pieces and place it in a microwave-friendly dish. Microwave for 30 seconds, remove from microwave and stir. If the chocolate has not melted place back into the microwave for another 30 seconds, remove and stir. Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted. Add 750ml double cream and allow it to cool completely.

One the strawberries and the chocolate mixture is completely cool divide mixture into two bowls add strawberries to one bowl. Whip 1250ml cream until they form soft peaks.

Divide the whipped cream into the two bowls and fold in carefully to avoid losing air from the whipped cream.

Layer the biscuit mould with the strawberry mousse, allow to set for +- 10 minutes. Layer the white chocolate mousse. Place in the fridge to allow it to set completely. Grate chocolate and sprinkle on top. Add fresh strawberries and mint to garnish.
